Really very good food. Excellent soups on the authentic Thai soup section of the menu. The Tom-Yum-Talay noodle soup is excellent. The lemongrass noodle soup is also terrific. Appetizers are great, including shrimp shumai. Will definitely be back!

We had an amazing dinner here while in town for a conference. The food is delicious and there are options catering to all preferences. The cocktails are also incredible - I would definitely recommend the Siam mule. The servers and owners are also so considerate. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Boston!

We ordered mango chicken curry, taste wise, it was great, but vegetables were undercooked. Small portion for 1 person. The crispy duck was cold inside and not crispy at all. I gave it 4 stars because the curry was great.

Great food and great ambience. When we went they seemed a bit short of staff but otherwise no complaints. Will definitely recommend if you are craving Thai food around Boston Commons. I would love to go again.

Montien Thai is the authentic Thai restaurant that I recommend.
It is the best restaurant I have ever gone to in the U.S.
I had Thai hot pod, gapao rice, and Yum Woon Sen, which is the Thai salad.
All in all good, extremely delicious!!! I believe Thai chef made them for us. The food has a reasonable price, and what is good thing, it has a huge proportion!
There were a lot of group of guests coming when I went to the restaurant, even it was in the middle of the weekday night.
I would definitely repeat this restaurant to try another meals.

It's so hard to capture how fresh the veg is and how right this dish- The Mermaid (?) is. Bright herbs, fresh spice. The fish is cooked perfectly. Branch out from Phad Thai here - I asked my server what to order and she was spot on.

The food is good, but not great. The food is set up to come out fast for the theater goers. You can tell they have stuff pre-made and throw it together real quick to make multiple meals. The crispy chicken was really good. The pad Thai was good. They shrimp was cooked well, but sauce was fairly blan. During theater rush, the staff is really hauling and work very hard. Service suffers a little because of it. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but the rush is tough on them. Prices were ok for being in theater district. Service is fast.

I had high expectations going to Montien Thai, however, the food was slightly underwhelming. The Pad Thai seemed a little under seasoned and the flavor was more on the bland side. The drunken noodles were good. The plating was colorful. However, there was a high ratio of vegetables to noodles and I wish there were more noodles, given the price. The restaurant did, however, have an extremely great ambiance. My friend described the room decor and colors as “dessert earth tones: burnt sienna with reddish brown accents with a touch of tan grey and this color palette is incorporated in the furniture”. There is cohesive styling all around and it is clear that a lot of thought was put into the ambiance of the restaurant
