Navy Yard Bistro

This is a hidden gem at the Navy Yard. Plenty of gluten free options if needed. Due to the location it is easy to miss this place. However this allows quiet outdoor seating, perfect on warm summer nights. This is my favorite restaurant to walk to, and they have a nice bar too. Can be an ideal dinner place for tourists too after visiting the US constitution.

The food and service was good. Their use of off brand substitute alcohol for their mixed drinks was very disappointing. I can't believe that they need to skimp out with no name alcohol substitutes...REALLY...it is not like they aren't making enough money on their alcoholic beverages....I thought ot was a first class establishment?!?!

Food was hot, delicious and beautiful. Waitstaff was "above&beyond" wonderful!!! We were in a rush to get to a concert, and mentioned it. So, from the door to our table, everything was done to accommodate our schedule. But above all else, the food was amazing, as well as the service! We WILL go again!!

Great food! My favorite dinner spot in Charlestown. I always suggest to visitors for a nice date or fun dinner with friends. It is a little expensive but the food is worth it and Charlestown is stunning at night. Sadly, the waiters here are almost always mediocre borderline bad. Short story, made long (down below), the server didn't ruin my friend's birthday but they certainly were the worst part of the day. Just be nice and the food speaks for you. If entrees sit in the $20-35 range I expect full water glasses, offers for re-fills on soda and alcohol, and at least one smile. 5 of us went for a birthday on a Tuesday night, made a reservation via OpenTable, and had a horrible server. They(my server) ignored us, no refills, no water, no offers for more drinks, took ages to take our credit card - which I had to walk up to the POS/server station, and had not one smile for us all night. We did take a while to catch up with each other at first but we ordered 4 apps, 5 entrees, a bottle of red, and attempted to order dessert. One of us had to flag the server down for a second drink. I said attempted dessert because the kitchen closed at 9ish and at 9:15 our server asked if "we needed something else?" We said "Yes can we see the dessert menu?" They replied "oh no actually the kitchen closed." ...maybe offer us something else before it closes? Bad business to not offer another round, dessert, or try and up-sell anything. We left her 15% in cash but usually I give 20-25 depending on the server.
