Kane's Donuts

Ask for what’s fresh! I was so Excited for gluten free donuts doughnuts 🍩 I asked for what I wanted - what I should’ve done is ask for what’s fresh! Or freshest? 2 of the 6 I ordered weren’t fresh anymore. They were a little stale. And the coconut oil - which I was really excited about - had gone a little rancid. Who knew? Maybe they should toss things out quicker? Or maybe GF don’t have the shelf stability. I will definitely be back - for the blueberry, the plain cake, and the plain + chocolate, but I may never eat coconut donut again. Also, the jelly stuffed was really brittle, dry and crumbly. I did make it in right at closing ~ 2 pm.

The donuts are large, and very tasty! I had the Boston Cream and the Crème Brulée ones, and I loved them! The Boston cream one is huge and loaded with Bavarian cream. The creme brulee one was delicious, but got a taste that became overwhelming real quick (and part of the side of the glaze was burnt a bit, but it is what it is). My partner had the apple fritter and that one was huge too, but a bit disappointing as there wasn’t that many apples in it.

We loved Kane’s Donuts! My husband is celiac and we decided to go here after reading about there gluten free protocols. Their gf donuts are made off site in a gluten free kitchen and then kept separate from the gluten containing donuts at their store front. While there, the person helping us re-confirmed that this information was accurate. You could tell that they have a clear understanding of celiac and how to keep celiacs safe. Aside from that, the donuts were great! I had the Boston cream(Boston scream for Halloween) which WAS gluten containing. And my husband, celiac, had the cinnamon sugar and the plain glaze without any issues. Both GF donuts were great but we particularly loved the glaze. We’ll definitely return!

Was craving some of the BEST donuts in Boston! So I ordered the Creme Brûlée, the KGF blueberry Blast and the Apple Fritter today! So delicious and hit the spot and wash it down with a bottle of milk to complete it! Love KANES Donuts you can never go wrong with them! Donuts are always fresh and they put a smile on your face while eating them!!

We are visiting Boston for the first time and I did a quick “best donuts in Boston” and this place was at the top of the list, & it did not disappoint! There are so many options of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, beverages, muffins, etc. There were some Halloween themed options too! There are plenty of tables outside and the weather/atmosphere was great. There are several GF options and we loved the ones we tried. 10/10 recommend!

Whether you want a breakfast treat, a midday snack, or a dessert indulgence, Kane’s Donuts has something for everyone.

Kane’s Donuts has the best donuts in the city! I really loved every bite of two donuts especially the cinnamon one. The donuts tasted fresh and baked perfectly! It’s an experience you must experience. My friend who is gluten free really loved the gluten free donuts here too! She finally felt included at a donut shop! The vibe makes you feel at home here. The variety from gluten free and nongluten free is remarkable here. I’ll hope to be back soon!

I usually love this place’s donuts, but the seasonal apple caramel was a bit disappointing. Since I usually love the donuts (for their taste and size), I gave Kane’s 4/5 This place is usually quite busy, so keep that in mind when you visit. But they have the biggest donuts! I usually get a blueberry cake donut, and it’s fabulous. The donuts are a bit expensive, though, so don’t be surprised if you spend $5 or $6 on a donut. For the apple caramel, though, there wasn’t enough filling. It was too much donut and not enough caramel apple inside. The caramel on top didn’t have a strong taste. Overall, it was a bit underwhelming, especially for a place I adore.

Cute, small donut shop in a quiet part of town. It was a really nice break from the hustle of the day. I have celiac disease and was really excited to try their gluten free donuts since they have so many options. I got the cinnamon sugar, glazed, and chocolate frosted. They don't have all the flavors in the store every day, so don't get your heart set on one. Honestly best donuts I've ever had. They were huge, full-sized donuts and very filling. I couldn't eat the 3 donuts in one sitting and I have a pretty big appetite. My husband got the regular lemon filled, glazed, and blueberry and he liked them too! Glazed was his favorite. When we were in the store there was a family with a young girl with celiac and they came all the way from London! This place obviously has a big reach, and for good reason.
