After eating here I realized I've never eaten good calamari in my life. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and came out quickly. I was stuffed and simply could not stop eating because it was so good. Fair warning this place is cash only so be ready because they kinda rush you out once you finish eating

The food was delicious and a perfect blend of authentic Italian food and Boston’s seafood! My friends and I came here for my partner’s birthday and we don’t regret it one bit! I got the lobster ravioli and it was exquisite! However, here are some things to note: - No reservations! We were a group of 5, came within the opening hour, and waited about 15-20 minutes to be sat. If your party is bigger or you come later, expect longer waits. - CASH ONLY! They do have an ATM inside but come prepare to avoid the ATM fees. - You will be rushed! It’s a tiny 2-story place that attracts a lot of people. They want to sit as many people so you will feel rushed to order, eat, and leave (which really sucks since you’d want to savor such good and expensive food)

Recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint! We ate upstairs in their open air dining area which was a cool experience. The chicken piccata was the BEST! I ate the entire plate-couldn’t put my fork down! The capers and lemon sauce were perfect and the bread and oil were true Italian. Would revisit for sure!!

Came here about 5 years ago but just came across the photos and realized I never left a review! The food was incredible. We came when doors opened and were seated quickly and courteously. Staff were cheerful and efficient. We had the pumpkin ravioli and the fusilli with lobster and shrimp. We also had some calamari as a starter. Some of the best pasta I’ve ever eaten and so good on a cold day.

This place was our savior on Friday night. We had a reservation for the restaurant across the street and showed up early, but there were people who had reservations for an hour before, and were still waiting to be sat. We were starving and waiting was not an option, especially since it was already past 9 PM. We walked in, were sat right away, and were served everything we ordered almost immediately. The food was incredible as well. It’s a small, no-frills place, but the staff were lovely and straight to the point. We had an excellent time here, and I would highly recommend instead of waiting for another spot

The food: absolutely frikin’ stellar, the seafood was BOMB. And for a very decent price too! The waitress: scary AF and hates tourists. I felt bullied into tipping more than necessary despite the less than welcoming service Expect to wait in line to get in, the restaurant is very popular for dinner. (We waited ~ 40 minutes on a Sunday evening, got there at 8:00PM) While your group is waiting, if you haven’t taken out cash for this place, go to the bank. Also look at the menu before going in, the waitress gets very impatient if you ask too many questions or show signs of indecision. We also witnessed the waitress loudly insulting a group of low tipping European customers. Get the 1/2 lobster linguine special (it goes amazing well with the diavolo sauce). Also the calamari was probably the best I’ve had to date.

It was the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life!!! I ordered DiMare and my husband had lobster fusilli. Both of them were excellent with their unique sauce. Grilled Octopus was the day’s specialty and it was amazing. You can taste the flavor of charcoal grill. The waiter was only so nice and professional. It’s highly recommended. They do not accept credit card which is the only negative feedback about this restaurant.

Cash only restaurant that serves good and authentic Italian cuisine. Seafood are their strongest suit and the experience could be better if our waitress didn't come off " hustling ." "You need your change?" Like, you have to ask for your change ?!? There seems to be expectations for big tips period. Poor customer experience!
