This Bar / Restaurant opened in July 2019 and is slowly growing in popularity.
Looking at the menu you might be put off by the apparent basic descriptions of the food but if you give it a try you will soon realise that Michael is a chef not a cook.
For example the common Benalmadena fare of burger and chips at Olssons's goes way beyond the norm, his burgers are hand made 100% beef and his chips are hand cut farmhouse style. Michael's Plaice and chips are made from imported fish which he fillets and crumbs himself again with his special chips and this comes with some real quality tartar sauce.
For the Scandinavians amongst you Michael prepares a great range of Danish open sandwiches however I have noticed that many none Scandinavians are regularly ordering these dishes [Well maybe not the herring : ) ]
As if the quality of the food and its preparation and cooking wasn't enough to get you to visit Olsson''s Michael is also a great host and his bar / restaurant is situated on an upper level with incredible panoramic views of Benalmadena bay.
Give it a try, I did and I went back every day after that!!

We keep coming back for the fantastic food and ice cold beer! Michael makes the most wonderful tapas with a Scandinavian twist that I crave. Great atmosphere too.

This is a lovely restaurant. The food is 5 star. The best brunch on the Costa del sol. Michelle and Michael and Jane are lovely and welcoming. Enjoyed some great evenings there. Please go , it is a gem.

What a gem, Michale and Michele, so warm and welcoming, and the BBQ food, out of this world, very pleasant company and atmosphere, can definatley recommend this restaurant, Chris, Ray, Shan , Sue, and our dear friend Bruno.
Omg...just had my favourite meal of the holiday...Olson's food was amazing...friendly host...just the best..you must call in and try for yourself..you won't be disappointed ❤️
