Olsson's

This Bar / Restaurant opened in July 2019 and is slowly growing in popularity. Looking at the menu you might be put off by the apparent basic descriptions of the food but if you give it a try you will soon realise that Michael is a chef not a cook. For example the common Benalmadena fare of burger and chips at Olssons's goes way beyond the norm, his burgers are hand made 100% beef and his chips are hand cut farmhouse style. Michael's Plaice and chips are made from imported fish which he fillets and crumbs himself again with his special chips and this comes with some real quality tartar sauce. For the Scandinavians amongst you Michael prepares a great range of Danish open sandwiches however I have noticed that many none Scandinavians are regularly ordering these dishes [Well maybe not the herring : ) ] As if the quality of the food and its preparation and cooking wasn't enough to get you to visit Olsson''s Michael is also a great host and his bar / restaurant is situated on an upper level with incredible panoramic views of Benalmadena bay. Give it a try, I did and I went back every day after that!!
