This is my 3rd visit and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and I tried jackfruit for the first time. My favourite item for savoury was the sausage roll and in the sweet layer was the toffee apple flavour treat. Gemma is really inventive when it comes to flavours. I have recommended the afternoon tea experience to my family and friends and will be back.

Excellent food as always, though our earlier visit was even more spectacular. Service was great, although we had enquired about a mocktail but the waiter forgot to get back to us.
But it's a superb place to go for eccentric and excellent afternoon tea. Thoroughly recommend it.

This place is just the best. My wife and I had the 'Grease' themed tasting menu. Every dish has been well thought out and gives you the opportunity to try things I never have or would even think about having in a restaurant. The staff are a credit to the place, carrying out their work with professionalism but at the same time, happy to have a natter and a bit of criac.

What a fabulous restaurant. Outstanding food which is beautifully presented. The waiting staff were exceptional, so friendly and welcoming. Could not recommend highly enough, you must go when in Belfast!

Amazing food lovingly crafted by a genius! The staff at the restaurant help create a warm, relaxed atmosphere but are also highly professional, and knowledgeable on each course and wine. The Grease theme was fabulous. I can’t pick my favourite as each was sublime. I love this place !!

We were visiting from England and love ourselves a weird restaurant experience - we came for the 80's Game Shows themed tasting menu and it was amazing.
Each course focused on a particular game show, with a fun game to play accompanying the food (which was absolutely amazing and tied into the game show for that course).
The staff were excellent - knowledgeable, friendly and cheerful, and they really helped make the evening special.
We will definitely be booking more weekends in Belfast specifically to visit A Peculiar Tea again!

A very different and excellent restaurant experience. Some amazing tastes from a 7 course sample menu with tasting wines. Similar experiences left me feeling hungry. Certainly not here.
Head and shoulders above an Indian Michelin starred restaurant in the South of England.
Enthusiastic staff and excellent service.
The experience isn't cheap.

Came for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday, had a magical time. Beautiful presentation, carefully planned-out palate, great service. Too bad we couldn't stay any longer as we have to catch our flight, but well worth the visit ❤️

The experience was worth it. The atmosphere was great; staff friendly, professional and in character for the establishment; the food was spectacular as was the presentation. Definitely put this on the top of your list of places to dine at.
