I've tried this place twice so far since I found it near my work place. Delicious! The sandwiches are big and packed with meat, cheese and any other goodie you wish for in a sandwich. I've tried the clam chowder and French onion soup, they were so scrumptious. The staff was friendly and the food is really fresh. I'll be getting fatter for sure

Worst experience I have had here. In fact, only bad experience I have had here. Since 2006, best sandwiches but now just low quality ingredients, and, at best, impolite service. And when I say NO MAYONANAISE OR MUSTARD, that means NO MAYONNAISE OR MUSTARD! You lost two customers yesterday.

Update: The new owner has ruined a great place. Save your time and go elsewhere.
We came to town from Astoria to eat at another sandwich place. We were googling for restaurants nearby and this place showed up. Thank God I read reviews and decided to try it.
The prices alone are fantastic. Add to that the freshness and quality of product and this place is off the charts. We had 3 different sandwiches and they were all so yummy.
Three 6" sandwiches, a large soup, and a drink for $20!
We will be making a monthly drive down here to come eat!

Great little sub shop with a surprising range of selections. Ingredients were fresh and tasty - a little heavy on the strong ones (like green pepper), but easily adjusted. And the avocado on my Clancy was perfectly ripe, so delicious! Great service, great atmosphere.
I've a soft spot for delis and sub shops and my itch was scratched here!

If you just moved to town, and you've never been here before, and money is no issue - 5 stars. Great sandwiches that speak for themselves, and the quality has not changed. If you remember the good old days under previous ownership, well, like me, you're probably going to surprised by the prices, and disappointed by the unfriendly attitude. I had my first EVER negative experience there today.
Here's some advice to the newish owner that I'm sure will be ignored: either stop responding to these online reviews or get someone else to do it, because you sound like an angry, unhinged lunatic. I definitely caught an unpleasant vibe from whoever was at the counter earlier today. Maybe they were having a bad day? I understand the customer is not always right - in fact the opposite is often true - but that's not an excuse to act like customer service doesn't matter. Consider this three star review a win.

Hours are inaccurate. They stop taking orders at 2:30 and only by phone at the moment, the 3:00 is for pickup of already ordered sandwiches. Missed the deadline by 1 min today so sad. Best sandwich in town. I'll try again tomorrow.

This is the funniest restaurant sub shop I have never been to him they don't have any tables inside , and they don't have any tables outside it's the guy told me they can't open the restaurant because they don't have a working bathroom oh, so that means that they have some sewage dumped in the back
. I just think it's very unprofessional and uninviting at you can't even eat in the restaurant nor do they have a picnic table outside
