Sooooooooooo Goood I don't know where to start this food was absolute incredible. I was traveling with 3 Indians and they totally agreed this place is authentic Indian food. Amazing delicious spectacular flavors. If ever in Barcelona again I will definitely find my way back here. Kudos!!!!!!
If you are an Indian who does not live in India, you know that getting good North Indian food is a luxury that is hard to come by. However, if you are craving some while in Barcelona, Bembi's food will take you right back home. Apparently, this restaurant is owned and operated by the staff and chefs who worked at the Taj in Calcutta. If you know anything about the Sonargaon restaurant at the Taj, you know that their dal makhani is to die for. And, Bembi will deliver just that to you. We loved it so much, we went back again for some more. I would also recommend that you try their pudina naan and kadhai paneer. One of the servers told me that the dal makhani and kadhai paneer are among their star dishes - and no wonder! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing experience!
Excellent Indian food. Dinner was so good that we were tempted to try their sister restaurant the next day for lunch.
Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The sauces and naan were delicious. The decor was nice, service was good and very accommodating to large groups and families.
An Indian reviewing a Indian restaurant in Barcelona...... this one has to be a candid one.
Honestly I ordered Dum ka murg and Pudina Paratha. Both of which were yummliciously delicious and authentic . This restaurant sure did not let me miss home . Highly recommend.
What a treasure! Indian food that truly reminded us of home. Exceptional quality, interesting menu and great staff. So glad we came. TWICE in two days!!
It is a nice indian restaurant. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is calm and relax. They have a nice wine list. The service is quick and good one. They take care of the customers and give some tips about dishes.
Ate here twice during our week in Barcelona. Wonderful service, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere. Great for families. We took our 3 year old twice and they were so accommodating and even remembered her name on our second trip. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
Looking for an Indian restaurant that could work with us on our dietary preferences. Bembi was the place! We loved the atmosphere (very warm and comfortable) and the owner (woman) was gracious, warm and extremely helpful. We thought, "Great", but wondered how the food would turn out. Need not have worried. The dishes were fantastic! I am a spice lover, so tried the Vindaloo...exceptionally flavorful with just the right amount of picante to make you take notice but not overpower the food. Vegetable dishes were quite good. Wine selection was OK, and my Tempranillo was good. All in all, a great place to eat very tasty Indian food in Barcelona. Can not say enough about how they wanted to work with us on the items we could not eat.
Excellent food and great service. Excellent decor. Most people speak English.. we are visiting from USA and we definitely recommend this place for Desi food
Well worth the change of pace from eating tapas and paella. The pindi Chana reminded me of eating in Mumbai. The ambience is sophisticated but comfortable. Very nice wine list to compliment the cuisine.
