Pasta House Eatery

I truly hate to give bad reviews, and I really want to give a good review for this place, but I just can't. After some mixed feelings on the service and some of the food after a few visits, I remained neutral. I do really like the sweet sauce pizza, but my last experience was too much. We ordered 2 cheesesteaks, some lobster bisque, and breaded mushrooms. The lobster bisque was close to awful. The mushrooms were good, as they usually are about the same anywhere. On the menu they give for takeout, it says the hot subs come with chips or substitute fries for $1. We did not get either and were told that those items do not come with takeout orders unless you buy them separately. I specifically asked for the special cheesesteak without the sauce, but with some of the "blazin sauce, " which sounded awesome. I got the cheesesteak with the regular sauce (no blazin sauce at all), and I ended up just throwing it away because I do not like spaghetti sauce on a cheesesteak at all, which was why I asked for it without the sauce. It's a shame that we can't get decent businesses around here, it just seems like no one cares what customers think. I hope this helps someone or, better yet, helps the business improve. This area needs some good, reliable restaurants. Also, the hours are incorrect... they are not open on Monday or Tuesday, and I think the hours are wrong also.

Did not have good experience at all, the waitress, never checked up on us, I had to go up to the bar for the check, and there was only two other people eating there. I had the spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs, marinara sauce was horrible over seasoned, and just not good. The meatballs were dry, I couldn't even eat my meal. The wife's meal was decent had shrimp scampi, shrimp was over cooked, but the sauce was good. The restaurant had no identity, very dark, and didn't feel clean.

Their sweet pizza is just as good in its own little way as fabrizios up the block however their not the devitios and its awkward for someone who in the past remembers what the restraints was and how the atmosphere has died down since the management change. However the new management seems to be picking it up and hopefully can keep up the good work and gain the people's trust again!!!
