Jersey Mike's Subs

Jersey Mike's in Ashland is a joke. I stopped in because their sign read OPEN. It was a red brightly-lit neon OPEN sign. I walked up to the door and it was open/unlocked. As I walked, the boy behind the counter said in a snotty attitude "we're closed". I replied but your sign is lit and the door is open. "But we're still closed" was how he replied. I would not have stopped if the sign wasn't lit.

The lady was pressuring us to order on both times I looked at the menu with an empty restaurant. I understand you might be having a bad day but don't take it out on me when you have a totally empty restaurant. Then my product was well under par. I got two small subs and a drink for 26 dollars. It was not worth it. Please boycott them their product was not worth the attitude.

Firstly, I like the sandwiches, but I have observed a pattern in my last 4 visits to this store in particular. I used to order my food when I got there but after some passively rude service I started ordering online and they would leave the bag by the door so I could just grab and go. Now you have to wait until they notice you before service. I stood in there (not know the bags were behind the counter) until I noticed the servers would see the other people not in line and ask them if they had a pick up. Oddly, I was not asked. 5 people came and went for online pick up before I finally said something and was told to 'wait a minute'. I stood there for 15 minutes and finally had to speak up instead of being greeted like the 5 people who entered after me. Not sure why I was singled out; some would draw the obvious conclusion. I hope that is not the case.

Update: changed my review from a 1 star to 4 because they fixed the bathroom, seemed to do some renovations and overall improvements. Not gonna give it a 5 because of poor communication from mgmt and customers but you can tell someone, at least employees are trying. ______________ They turned down a senior couple that was out of town that needed to use restrooms...should have been a red flag after an employee walked out. They were out of white bread and i guess they were low on meat because everyones sandwiches were paper thin. If yall got an email i can send pictures but honestly would like a refund.
