Golden Phoenix Chinese Restaurant

Couldn't find a menu anywhere online so figured I'd upload pictures of their most current one's. Decent Chinese place, fast and polite service. Only complaint is the massive amount of sauce at the bottom of our orange and general chicken boxes. Was a little strange, but all the sauces did seem house made, not like most places.

It's better than most of the Chinese available in the valley. The portions are plentiful. But, the egg rolls we received were just weird. It was like a skinny egg roll wrapped in a crispy wrapper...very little filling, no flavor. Weird. You only get a small 4 ounce cup of sauce for three entrees. She said I had to pay for more if I wanted more. Really? If I buy three meals, I should get three servings of sauce. No soy sauce, no napkins, no cutlery. NO THANKS. The woman was abrupt and didn't even thank me. They said to pick up the order in 20 minutes. It turned out to be almost 40. We'll go elsewhere next time.

Too bad that several patrons have had bad experiences at this restaurant. I’ve had nothing but great tasting food, served by courteous and helpful people, and it’s been that way every time I’ve been there. Fresh, hot food for a fair price in a friendly atmosphere ... looks right to me ! Thank you ! I’d like to mention some things that I’ve eaten here that are worth mentioning since I last posted the review above. Happened to try their Marfar chicken, which is very similar to Kim’s from several years back. The best ever : chunks of white meat with a light, crunchy coating ... amazing ! And their crab puffs are a must have. Actually more crab meat than cream cheese, together with a hint of green onion. Delicious ! Love me some Golden Phoenix !!
