Bland food and the the owner was kind of a d**ck. I tipped 18% on a to-go order and ordered a side of broccoli for my kids. I got a box full of stems (see photo). Politely asked to change so it wasn't a box of mush. The owner refused to change it out. Said that was the only broccoli they had. Would you pay $5 for the below?

This place is amazing. The service is great (if you meet Rae, tip her well!). Great cocktails and great food. If you have the opportunity and they’re serving it, I would highly recommend the peach slammer or passion fruit margarita. All I’m saying is if you’re debating what to have for dinner, EAT HERE.

Spectacular remodel of the space has made this a must-stop on any downtown walk. My wife and I do stroller walks with our toddler to Lithia Park every weekend, and now we have a great outdoor seating space to enjoy an afternoon drink, appetizer, or full lunch. Great selection of drinks, snacks, and main dishes. The last time our daughter was able to play across the street in the big Lithia Park grassy area while we traded off one of us playing with her and the other sitting at the table enjoying food, drinks, and people watching. It's great to see business owners being innovative to work with the pandemic and cater their business to the changing circumstances, and Sesame knocked it out of the park. I'll be coming here every weekend I'm downtown. Has a similar great vibe as Ruby's and Gil's, but I would say even more family friendly.

I’ve eaten at Sesame quite a bit of the years and for the most part have enjoyed their, however I feel their service is lacking. With the COVID situation we’ve being trying to give busy to local restaurants and picked Sesame this evening. We ordered over the phone and were told the prefer would be ready in 15 mins. We had other errands so it took a little, but we were hungry picked up our food and headed home . When we got home we had one entree correct and other was an appetizer we didn’t order. Of course we should have double checked before heading out the door, but with so few customers I would have thought the staff could have ensured we had the right order. I would think it’s pretty common for staff to double check an order prior to sending a customer off. Anyhow, lesson learned and I’d recommend staff pay a little more attention. I got deep fried calamari rather than Bangkok pork, not a good trade off. Now I’m off to spend my money elsewhere.
