Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

Went here for Brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. The establishment was very accommodating. We didn't feel rushed. The customer service was great. My only recommendation is for the place to create mimosa flights, as well as perhaps consider lowering the price. $10 for a regular glass and $14 for whats supposed to be a larger glass. Is a bit much. I have been to several other places that offered better Mimosas for cheaper. The chicken and Waffles was great. The fried green tomatoes were Awesome, especially with the grits.

My husband and I came here for breakfast, we entered just as it opened and slowly over the course of breakfast the place was filling up. They have many good food options, I had eggs Benedict which were not that good. It's very very flavorful and too mushy. My husband had the chicken and waffles and it was really delicious, don't forget to pour the maple syrup! The service wasn't the best, the waitress wasn't very friendly. prices are reasonable

Service is always as quick as it can be. They get slammed, but they work it out. GET THE BISCUITS, AND THEN GET THEM AGAIN. Good menu, including a la carte classics, so everyone has choices. Like the biscuits, it's an option, but not really, you know? Pet friendly with outdoor covered seating. If you catch me there because of this review, there is no need to thank me in person. Just send over a plate of biscuits.

Loved our time here except for the very beginning. We were asked if we had reservations, I said no. We were told that we could sit at the bar because all the open tables (maybe 5 inside and 5 on the patio) were reserved. Totally fine by me, so we went to the bar, there were plenty of seats for the two of us. As we tried to sit down, two guys sitting at the bar told us that they were saving 4 seats for a friends…which means that there were not enough seats together for us. The bartender quickly told us we could pull a seat from elsewhere and sit at the end of the bar which was fine but bar seating should be first come first serve IMO. The hostess kept sending other people over to the bar for seating for probably another 15 min because she saw there were still open seats and the guys kept telling people they couldn’t sit in the open seats they were saving. It was a solid 15 min before all their friends showed up. Also only maybe two of the the “reserved” tables got filled for the hour+ we were there. Food came out quick and tasty and the bartender was fantastic. Friendly staff and great establishment. Would be back (prob with reservations!) 🙃
