While in general I do not care for the overall dinner experience, they recently started serving brunch. No one seems to really know that yet as we were the only table in at 10am, and only two more tables had been sat by the time we left. The waffles were very light and fluffy and the biscuit breakfast sandwich was huge and delicious. My table also ordered the breakfast burger and french toast. No complaints. Also cheap mimosas. An easier Sunday morning brunch experience than waiting in a line on Haywood or downtown, to subsequently be squished into a small dining room.

The food was good. Great place to go if you want to be left alone. Once the server came with our drinks, we never saw him again until we got the bill. A different person took our food order and delivered our food. The server came back around and had the nerve to ask if we wanted to add the tip to the check before handing it to us. When we asked how much the bill was, he would not tell us and ask if we could go ahead and put a 25% tip on the bill before he gave it to us. We asked if the person who took our order, brought our food, and refilled our drinks would be getting part of the tip. His answer is no cause. i am your server, and this is my table. We politely said no to the 25% and said we would be leaving cash. He handed us the bill, and we never saw him again. Another person came to take the money( the same person that brought the food and took our order), and we asked if we could give this person the tip. They said they didn't want to be yelled at by the "sever for that section." So i called the manager over and told him the story, and he said that we could tip the poor person doing all the work and not the server, so we did. As we were leaving, the server was at the front ,flirting with a customer and just looking us up and down. We gave the poor person that wasn't even part of the wait staff, who took our order, brought our food, and refilled our drinks the 25% cause they earned it! The waiter got $2! $1 dollar for seating us and $1 for holding the door! If you go to fat's pay attention and make sure the people that do the work get the tip! Not the ones who want to flirt with customers and ignore everyone else!

We had just pulled off 40 after driving all day. This place was EXACTLY what we needed. Loaded fries were so gooey and topped perfectly. I had a Maple Bacon Wedge salad. The bleu cheese and candied bacon complemented each other so well. The Kentucky Bourbon bbq sauce was some of the best I've ever had, and I LOVE Barbecue. Here is a pic of my son's Daddy mac double stack. He was impressed. If you have time, stop it. It's worth it.

First time back in over 10 years. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, after our long journey and stressful day. The food was better than we remembered. Chicken and waffles were the special of the day, so my husband enjoyed that. I had the shrimp and grits, which was VERY SPICY, but perfect for me. The only reason for taking away a star is that the house kept the original reciept, with the "$5 off your next visit" survey, and we had to wait awhile for our server to bring it back to us. Kalyn was very sweet and on top of our service. We lacked for nothing. We will be back again for their ribs!
