Hint: If you want to eat dinner upstairs, I would suggest you make reservations. If just having drinks and/or some snacks, there are some tables, a couch and seats at the bar. Older building with large beautiful windows, curtains, plants and a lovely bar. Really different and nicely done. Great drinks, food, service and atmosphere. Off the beaten path, look up the times they are open. We would not have known about this gem if someone had not told us.

Portion size to price seemed all over the place. The kale salad was small, with very little going on except for a spicy "crouton" that overpowered anything else that might have been there. On the other side the coq au Vin was balanced, tasty, and a reasonable size. As a whole the food seemed busy and without focus. Seemed like there were 4 or 5 prominent flavors in the tort that were all competing. In the end it tasted like stuffing instead after having the mushrooms shine. The service was good, the meals were paced well and follow-up was consistent. The ambiance was nice and had some casual yet elegant touches.

Great drinks, great vibes, and an absolutely wonderful bartender. The space is gorgeous, and I really loved my Kuzco’s Poison cocktail. You MUST get the fries with the aioli. They are life changing. The best part was the service. Our bartender was the best, and even offered to take photos of my partner and I. We had such a great time thanks to him, and the photos turned out great!

The staff was excellent and really added to the charming atmosphere. We only got drinks, but it would be hard not to recommend the place if you want a comfortable and gorgeous dining or drinking experience. We ordered a mix of unique seasonal drinks as well as some bar staples and they were all well made and fantastic. Drinks in the high teens for prices.

We had a great time here! Fantastic drinks selection (cocktails, wine, and beer). The atmosphere is unique and inviting, and the service was great! All the bartenders and servers were super friendly. We ordered a small fish dish (Crudo), which was absolutely perfect! Definitely planning to go back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This groovy bar has a pre-prohibition vibe, & offers seating on couches, at the bar, high-tops by the window, upstairs, & outside on the patio. The craft cocktails were thoughtfully-prepared, & the food was outstanding & locally-sourced. They have some of my favourite gin on hand (Monkey 47), & dozens of spirits in every category. We enjoyed the crudité & found everything well-balanced. Friendly staff, although our service lagged a bit as the server became preoccupied. Wheelchair accessible & a huge plus for us: gender-neutral washrooms! Will return.

Huge drink selection. Gorgeous. Full menu. This is the most beautiful and inviting spot in Asheville I’ve been to thus far. The staff were genuinely friendly and happy to help. I had read an article framed on the wall in one of our favorite spots about Sovereign Remedies and their amazing cocktails. We were looking for parking and found a spot on a side street in an area we’re just starting to explore. We started walking and there it was. Right in front of me. Like fate. I was so enamored by the aesthetics I walked right past the host stand. The food sounded amazing! We had dinner reservations so we didn’t eat there but I will be going back!
