My husband and I spotted this new restaurant after our first few days back at Arona and went tonight (Monday) 2 days after we arrived. I’d seen they did Bucatini Amatriciana which I remembered fondly from our recent trips to Rome so, I was very intrigued. Many of the Italian restaurants in Arona aren’t really authentic Italian food HOWEVER, this was every bit as Italian as our last trip to Italy. I obviously ordered the bucatini amatriciana and my hubby ordered the fillet steak - both of us were blown away not only by the amazing food but the typical warmth of the Italian hospitality. This food stood out from the usual restaurant fare as did the charismatic chef and her staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this little cove of Italian delights to anyone. We returned twice in the short week we were there and plan to return later this year as a larger family. Thanks to the wonderful Serrena for her amazing cuisine, her hugs and kisses and to Maurina for taking care of us - we absolutely loved it and were transported back to Roma in a single meal, complete with a double serving of amaretto x
