heavenly. these hand-pulled noodles are absolutely out of this world. i’ve only had comparable noodles once up north in Montreal at a big establishment, so the fact that these are hand crafted at a neighborhood joint is impressive to say the least. the menu leaves much to be discovered— it’s wonderfully extensive. but the spicy hot oil seared noodles are unmatched!!! thank you home taste for your no frills goodness

As a guy coming from a place famous for noodles and making my own noodles, my standard for noodles is high. This restaurant is probably the most authentic noodle place I've tried. You can tell the effort they put into the noodles, soup, and ingredients. Even the chilly oil is done right. Highly recommended

Highly recommended this place! Since COVID-19, we have been doing takeouts from Hometaste every week! Love their noodles and dumplings, especially my hometown favorite “snail noodles”(even both of my kids fall in love with this dish - asked for mild and soup and noodles packed separately). Don’t forget to try the pop-corn chicken and (non-caffeine) bubble-tea! My kids truly love those two.

UPDATED REVIEW: This place has really gone down the tubes since a few years ago. I get they're trying to cut costs, but I ordered 3 different beef noodle soups to go today, and it was 95% noodles, with about 5 very tiny pieces or beef and a few leaves of baby bok choy. Sad to say I will probably never return again unless they really change this stinginess. I looked at my pictures from my review 3 years ago (I leave them here for comparison) and today's noodles was nothing like what it was. I really shouldn't review this place because I want to keep it a secret! Best Northern Chinese noodles within a 20 mile radius at least. First time visit. Ordered online. Unbelievable number of dishes. Ordering was easy once you made up your mind. Beautiful pictures so you know what to get. People were very nice at pickup. Loved the beef with pulled noodles and Gen So chicken. Tried the cold chicken appetizer w peanuts. Not fond of it. But think this is a great place and will go back.

Friendly staff and nice homey dining area. I ordered the beef E1 Beef Casserole “hot pot” with K2 Fried Rice Chicken which was amazing. My wife had the C3 Vegetable Dumplings that was tasty with K1 Lo Main Vegetables. The place seems authentic which is pretty cool. I can suggest Home Taste if you are in the area.
