I had my 50th Birthday party here in April of 2019. I had visited here prior to my Birthday celebration for several other celebrations. Unfortunately Covid hit. So I'm hoping to stop by today for another intimate birthday celebration with just me and a friend this time. My family loves to visit when they come to town, they love the atmosphere and it is always welcoming! Thank you for a grown folk atmosphere with great food!! Drinks can be stronger for the price! 🤷🏽‍♀️👌🏼😏😍

Nobody likes paying for something that supposed to be free! I went on a Friday evening during the time of the free buffet. Being my first time here, I inquired at the front entrance how to go about ordering. Whether or not I should order at the bar or wait to be seated. None of the people at the front entrance, nor my waitress informed me of the free food in the banquet hall next to the main entrance. I ended up spending over $20 on an order of wings, side salad, and a cherry cola while just a few yards away other patrons were enjoying free food. To add insult to injury, the waitress did not acknowledge me for the first 15 minutes, and never came back to check on me like she said she would after my food was served. I've heard great reviews about this place, and I think I might want to give it another try but I would definitely encourage them to let all of the patrons know what to expect when entering. It's not wise to assume everyone attending has been there before. I didn't know about the buffet beforehand, I actually only went to hear the band which didn't set up until after 9 pm. I didn't stay that long because I was so soured by my experience at that point. I would like to hear them play as I've heard that they are very good. Really nice place to eat, drink & get your grown groove on. The Cajun Rice is REALLY spicy, catfish is flaky & good, shrimp is good, drinks are worth the price & the 5 layer pound cake is good, but 4 layers short of 5 layers. Be aware of the AUTOMATIC 18% GRATUITY!!! Still, we'll be back for our grown & sexy on!!!

Really nice looking club, the cover band was awesome on a hot Saturday night in August. I was a bit unimpressed with the drinks but the ambiance was cool as hell. I attended a birthday party, the crowd was not heavy but I assume the best night is probably Friday. Overall we had a decent time, I am not sure if I would go back though unless the crowd is a bit better. I would give it a C+
