BEST tomato soup. The fries are addicting. The grilled cheese had apple on it!
Lots of stuff to look at, even more drinks to try. Plenty on draft, signature cocktails and really good food. We tried the loaded fries and grilled cheese with tomato soup. And a couple drinks 🍸

Nice restaurant and bar.
It's very big and cozy inside with fancy paintings on the wall.
They have a great selection of (craft) beers on tap and in bottles.
It's nice but the beers are also expensive.

Drove up to Ann Arbor for lunch and dined in the heart of downtown. Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of dining space with a large bar in middle of restaurant (parking garage conveniently located across street). I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with onion and apple slices; tasteful combo and their fries are perfectly seasoned. Attentive and friendly service; wide variety food and beverage menu. Will be back! #goblue

Food tasted good, lots of open seating on Saturday night. Staff was a bit cold and inattentive with the exception being the one who was seating people, they were great. Ordered the double smash and the cowboy with the pretzel bites as an appetizer.

HopCat is a good place for relaxed / casual pub fare: fries, burgers, soup, and turkey burgers. They have a massive craft beer list so this is the place to go if you love craft beer!

No fries again for carry-out order! I ordered a cowboy burger combo with onion rings, paid about 20 bulks with tips. When I got back to office and opened the box, I found there were only a burger and onion rings inside. I did told the front desk I want fries and onion rings both. Also as I ordered burger combo it should come with fries and pickles as advertised. I did pay for both. But obviously there is no fries. This happened once about one year ago when I ordered for my wife. The food there is always good but I don't like this missing fries keep happening. The photo shows what I got when I opened the box.

The general manager Jordan reached out to me and helped address the problem. I appreciate HopCat is listening to customers' problem and willing to improve. Adding another 3 stars for their positive attitude and solution.

I usually love HopCat but this chicken sandwich was absolutely terrible. I just read a review who had the same issue. I agree with her that a McDonald’s chicken sandwich is better quality and way better than the one I got from HopCat. It was un-edible. You shouldn’t have this on the menu if it has had so many complaints. I’m so disappointed and I would really like to hear back from someone about this issue.

Delicious fries and burgers. The pretzel nugs were perfectly salty with just a hint of sweet. The Mac and cheese was a bit of a small portion but still very tasty.
