While I am big fan of supporting local restaurants, this establishment at lunch today failed miserably. After waiting 50 minutes for our order, the waitress brought the wrong one. Then finally after waiting 1 hour the cook called out to the waitress that our order was ready. The waitress then proceeded to walk past our food to another table to take their order. Not wanting to have cold soup, and since we were only seated a few feet away, I asked the kitchen staff (cook) if I could take our meal so as not to have the soup get cold. The cook rudely answered no and did not offer to bring the meal to us since the waitress was still with another table. I then proceeded to cancel the order and asked the waitress for the bill for my tea. She loudly complained that there was only one server and 1 cook in the restaurant and frankly this is not my problem. As a trained chef who dines out considerably, I found this to be unacceptable. This establishment obviously expects their customers to pay high (downtown) prices for entrees, without having trained and courteous staff. The cook (who I also assume is the owner) was rude and arrogant and made derogatory comments. The two kitchen staff were also not wearing masks. This is one establishment that really needs to take a good hard look at ensuring courteous, friendly and timely customer service if they are to continue in this business. Customers should expect nothing less.

I finally had a chance to go back here after being away for so long. My last experience here was great so I was hoping it was going to be as good as I remembered and it was. The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I know so many small restaurants suffered and closed permanently so I’m thrilled this one is open again. Delicious!

The crêpes, especially seafood medley and fluid solar roasted coffee were so good.

Wonderful service with great safety measures in place. Our savory crepes were incredibly delicious: I tried the pulled pork crepe and my partner had the ham crepe (both with a side of red pepper tomato soup). I particularly enjoy that they cater to people with food intolerance. A bit on the pricey side, but the portions are good!

Wow, so much fun visiting with my family yesterday and enjoying the amazing food served up at Mill Street Crepe Company in Almonte. Our table was women only so of course we started talking and delayed the pleasure of eating by enjoying each others company. But once we got our initial yah yahs out on the table, we topped if off with the best crepes ever!!! I split my chicken and cherry crepe with one niece and she share her smoked bacon and brie with me and we each had the amazing mill street salad, soooo good. I tasted the savory cabbage roll crepe which brought back great memories and may just be my go-to crepe, next time. We topped it off with desert crepes. I had the white chocolate and raspberry which I would definitely recommend to anyone. What can I say. The place was buzzing by noon and orders were still flying out of the kitchen at 3pm when we left. I would love this to be one of my regular day trips out of Ottawa! Thank you Wendy for the amazing food, the lovely atmosphere, and the scenic location. I look forward to my next visit and highly recommend Mill Street Crepe Company as the place to meet up for great food in Almonte!!

We have eaten at the Mill Street Crepe Company a few times over the last couple of years. We took a trip to Almonte yesterday and were only going to grab a coffee but decided to sit and have a meal. Great friendly service, excellent crepe-n-soup, and crepe-n-salad; a nice Saturday morning experience. Nice job on their Covid prevention - cleaning, gives a customer piece of mind. If you find yourself in Almonte, stop in for a meal!

Ordered two crepes with side salad and soup. Beyond delicious! Came in after the lunch crowd, so no waiting and lots of available seats.
